ABOUT JASMINE
Jasmine has been in love with art since she can remember. Knowing at an early age that someday she would be an artist when she grew up. Jasmine was raised in Minnesota, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in Painting Degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato. While obtaining her Masters, Jasmine was a graduate instructor at the University. After graduation, Jasmine relocated to Omaha, where she is now an Artist and Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. In addition to being represented in galleries, Jasmine has won numerous awards for her artwork and has been featured in magazines and newspapers. Jasmine blends her artwork with Real Estate by displaying her paintings in luxury homes as a showcase for many of her works. Her artwork shows regionally & nationally and is included in corporate, public and private collections.
ARTIST'S’ STATEMENT
A combination of gentle serenity to contrast bold activity, this is what I strive for. I achieve this by playing with different mediums, colors and an array of strokes. I welcome the unexpected--not only in my artwork--but in my life. The process of creation and exploration has just as much importance as the finished product itself. To paint emotion is what I ultimately desire--even if the result is wild or unpredicted. I want the viewer to not simply see but feel.
